Just 55 minutes' drive from toulouse airport, we offer chambre d'hôtes accommodation with swimming-pool on the gers / tarn-et-garonne / lot-et-garonne borders, 39km se of agen. The accommodation is all on the ground floor. in summer, this area enjoys a mediterranean-style climate without the mistral or tramontane winds which can so easily spoil a holiday by the med itself. Here is genuine, unspoilt, uncommercialised, rural france. A step back in time to a civilised world! we should be only too happy to provide specific information should you require it. if you are house-hunting in the area, we shall be pleased to put you in touch with local agents. There is an english-speaking agent just 7 miles away. (we receive no fee or commission for putting you in touch with any agents). this region is a gourmet's paradise, and guests may wish to dine out in one of the many restaurants in the area. We are able to book tables for you. We also offer table d'hôtes meals at 20 euro, including four courses, wine and coffee. Sample menus are available on request. We ask guests to book meals with us a day in advance, to enable us to use only the freshest ingredients. if you would like a light meal on your arrival, please let us know in advance. we are also pleased to arrange barbecues and/or pancake evenings on request. your accommodation consists of: one double bedroom with wash-basin, shower for hair-washing, and ensuite shower. Wc (with hand-basin). kitchen (at additional charge): hob, cooker hood, combination microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, "george foreman" type grill, charcoal pizza oven. The summer kitchen overlooks the pool, ideal for meals on the terrace. A washing machine and dishwasher are housed in a separate boiler room. general: log-burning fire in la grande salle, central heating, house linen. All cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided. All linen and towels are provided, though you will need to bring larger towels for use when swimming, etc. dining: seating for 10 in large banqueting room. Chambre d'hôtes guests may be served breakfast in the conservatory or on the terrace. Self-catering guests may also use the summer kitchen (see above) where there is ample room for up to six people.
